Local Musicians band together to create new works for experimental compilation.
‘Two Daze: Local Music Made In 48 Hours’ is a collection of music written, performed and recorded over one weekend in Auckland and Wellington, New Zealand.
Featuring tracks from a selection of New Zealand artists, 'Two Daze’ is the product of the creative process under pressure.
New Zealand music is just as relevant today as it’s ever been, and just as technology has evolved for how an audience receives and listens to music, it has also shaped the way it is created. The tracks on ‘Two Daze’ have been produced in studios, bedrooms, and over the internet, showcasing how music is being made in 2018.
With the project being mastered by Steven John Marr (Kane Strang, Doprah) and artwork by Jack Furniss, both from Aotearoa, ‘Two Daze’ is truly local and 100% homegrown.
